The Bowling Green-Warren County Bar Association staged the 2019 Law Day ceremony on May 8 at the Capital Arts Center on the square, followed by a luncheon hosted by the bar.
The day's most prestigious honor, the William H. Natcher Award, was presented to David Cole, Sr.
The Gwyneth B. Davis Award for outstanding public service went to Brent Stinnett, and Joy Denton was the winner of the Pro Bono Publico Award.
Our featured speaker was Prof. Gordon McKerral from the WKU School of Journalism, whose theme was “Free Speech, Free Press, Free Society”. The professor spoke about the importance and history of the 1st Amendment.
